Canyon High School #32 Reunion is around the corner
Friday, July 16th - For those interested in gathering on Friday, Freiheit Store is the spot. They have food, beer, space, music...everything we need for some fun. There's no official time. Happy hours starts at 5 p.m. for a lot of folks, so be there any time. If you're the first to arrive, you won't be alone long!
Saturday, July 17th - Place: Joy Felder Lindsey - Rockwall Ranch (directions at the end of this post)
As for Saturday, we're going to gather at our soon-to-be new home in Rockwall Ranch. Please note that the home is STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! I apologize in advance that's is not completed as we had hoped. What's important is that we have the three "Ps"...Pool, Patio and Potties...all of the essentials for a good time. We were trying to at least get the yard put in, but the rain has managed to space itself out just enough to make that impossible. Nonetheless, there's plenty of room with shaded and non-shaded patio space, so I hope everyone will be comfortable. We'll even have plenty of chairs (not everyone will be sitting at one time), but you are welcome to bring one if you prefer.
As for other things to bring...
1) Whatever you want to drink.
2) Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, etc. (Don't be shy. It's going to be hot and you'll want to get in the water.)
3) Optional - if you want to bring a snack (chips, dips, etc.) or a dessert, feel free. We are going to have a fajita dinner as the main meal, but grazing is always good.
4) Your favorite CD from high school years. Charlie and Leo will be entertaining us as well. The CDs are for inbetween.
We'll kick things off around 2 p.m. The gates are open that time of day, so there shouldn't be a problem.
Since we all went to school in N.B., everyone should know where Mission Valley Bowling Alley is located at the corner of Hwy. 46 and FM 1863. My house is about 8 miles from there, towards Bulverde. I've provided directions below from Austin and San Antonio, but if you're already in N.B. or are coming in from Canyon Lake, just use the Austin directions and start at Mission Valley Bowling Alley.

FROM AUSTIN:
South on IH 35 towards NB
Take Exit 190A - Hwy 46/Loop 337
Right (at McDonald's) on Hwy 46/Loop 337
Follow Loop 337 just past NB High School (approx. 5 miles)
Take exit ramp to Hwy 46 W
Right (at Walgreens) on Hwy 46
Left (at Mission Valley Bowling Alley) to FM 1863
Continue on FM 1863 approx. 7 miles
Look for entrance to Rockwall Ranch on Left
(Note: Road is Fels Mauer on Left and Indian Path on Right)
Left on Fels Mauer
Right at first stop sign onto Bogen Road
Look for 27827 Bogen Road on Right (approx. 1 mile)
FROM SAN ANTONIO:
North on IH 35 towards NB
Take Exit 175 - FM 3009/Natural Bridge Caverns Rd.
Left onto FM 3009
Continue on FM 3009 approx. 4.5 miles
Right onto Schoenthal Road
Continue on Schoenthal approx. 3.5 miles
Look for entrance to Rockwall Ranch on Left
Left onto Rockwall Parkway
Follow Rockwall Parkway PAST Bogen until it dead ends
Right on Kopplin Road until it dead ends
Lindsey house is 27827 Bogen Road where Kopplin dead ends into Bogen.
